    • According to the Method of Classifying Books of China, classified as ten types and arranged in order.
    • The out of date periodicals of last year
  3. Rules of the library
    • You can apply for a library card with your ID card and household register.
    • Collections lending, and you can register it according to the rules of the Online Computer Library.
    • Please cherish the books, and please buy the same ones or compensate them if you lose or stain the books.
    • You can look for things on the Internet, but you must register first with your library card, no registration in advance, everyone can use for 30 minutes each time.

Periodical Room (1)
  1. Service objects : Common people.
  2. Introduction to the collection:
    • Periodical magazines: Arranged according to the Method of Classifying Books of China. You can look for the books under the help of the reference book, which are arranged in types or the strokes of the periodicals' names, then look for the number of the shelf, or you can look for the books on the shelf directly.
    • Newspapers: The daily newspapers, including TAIPEI TIMES.
    • The stitched outdate newspapers: China Times, Freedom Times, The Union, Taiwan New-born newspaper.
    • The non-stitched outdate newspapers: Put them in the bookcase according to their names.
  3. Rules of the library
    • The magazines are refused to lend, pleased put them in the right places after finishing reading.
  4. Photocopy service:(Only for the books in the library)
    • Fees standard:2 Yuan for every piece of A3 B4,1 Yuan for every piece of A4¡BB5,add one more Yuan for two sides photocopying. No opening during the rest time at noon.

  2. Introduction to the collection:
    • Thread binding books: Collect the books which are stitched in the way of thread binding.
    • Japanese books: Collect the books from the Japan-occupied period.
    • Ten types of the reference books: Many kinds of the reference books, such as encyclopedias.
    • Press clipping of Chiayi County: Collect all the news about every fields of Chiayi County.
    • Chiayi Literature: Collect all the literatures or printed materials about Chiayi ,such as Chiayi History.
    • The subject collections for national exams: Provide papers for readers to finish the exercises and the keys to the exercises.
    • New books: Exhibit the books that are new-bought books or exchanged references.
    • Search on the government webs: Provide the government webs for searching.
  3. Rules of the library:
    • The references are refused to lend, pleased put them in the right places after finishing reading.
  4. Service ranges:
    • Requiring service.
    • Photocopy service: Only for the books in the library.
    • Fees standard of the government resource webs:2 Yuan for every piece.
    • Providing for the computers for searching the collections and web resources: You can look for things on the Internet, but you must register first with your library card, no registration in advance, everyone can use for 30 minutes each time.
    • Acting as an agent for applying for the literatures of the discourses of the periodicals.

  2. Introduction to the collection:
    • According to the Method of Classifying Books of China classified as ten types and arranged in order.
  3. Rules of the library
    • 1¡D Open time: From 13:30 to 17:00 every day. Stop to receive anybody after 16:30.
    • Readers with library cards should register first here before using.
    • The equipment just can be used after two or more people have registered for the non-single seat.
    • Every reader can use for one area; you can continue to use it if no other people waiting. Every day at most use for two areas, if you leave for 15 minutes halfway, it is considered as giving up the right.
    • Please use it according to the Operating Instruction, you can ask for help if needed.
    • You should be liable for breakage if you use the computers for illegal
      Activities or copy the information which has copyrights privately.
    • Please cherish the equipment, if dirtied or spoiled, please pay for its total price.
    • In the room, you must come here with neat turn-out. Also, no sandals, no smoking, no eating snacks, no drinking, no sleeping here. Please keep quiet here at any time.
    • Providing for the computers for searching the collections and web resources: You can look for things on the Internet, but you must register first with your library card, no registration in advance, everyone can use for 30 minutes each time.
    • Public right media lending: Only for the group library cards and inter-library cards.
